Friends.

I have had a really busy week, and it has involved friends.  I like friends and spending time with my friends.  🙂  I like it when I also feel like that they want to spend time with me as well. 🙂

Last week I wasn’t very well.  One of my lovely friends popped around on Friday to see me, even though she knew I wasn’t well, or because she knew I wasn’t well.  She gave me a lovely shoulder massage and we chatted as we usually do, putting the worlds to right.  🙂

On Saturday I joined the Demon Wrangler and the demons for movie watching for the elder demons birthday.  I still wasn’t really with it as the Monkey boy noticed, but they didn’t see to care, and it was still good to just be able to sit and blob if I want to and know that doing that is OK.  I am not going to be judged for being a bit quieter than my usual chatty self. 🙂

Sunday we were around at the Dutchie one’s house.  Her and the husband did manly diy type things, while I sat and read, and then we went for a drive and had a family meal with her.  Another lovely outing with another lovely friend.

Tuesday was a busy day friendwise.  Local friend Blameless popped up with Risk and we played Risk with Little Chick, I was actually very impressed with how well Little Chick did playing risk.

Then later on another great friend the HighPriestess arrived.  I met the Highpriestess through another website a number of years ago now.  She joined the website and then 2 days later joined a big group of us for a big met in Saffron Walden.  Ever since she has been one of the special people in my life.  She lives in the arse of the country in Suffolk, which is my only gripe really.  lol.  We have been down to visit her and she comes up and visit us.  She spoils me when I am down there, and I spoil her when she is up here.

I spoiled her on Tuesday night with a cream tea dinner…hehehe.  Fresh homemade scones and cream…nom nom.

Wednesday I didn’t really spoil her as I took her walking up to Malham.  The 2 of us, 3 children and a dog, out walking for about 4 hours.  You would think that would be enough to wear the children out…but oh no it wasn’t!  The talked until late and still woke up early.

Thursday we had decided to have a birthday party for Little Chick as on the 20th he will be turning 8.  When did that happen?  When did my little chick start becoming a big chick?  Being a summer holiday baby he hasn’t really had birthday parties.  The demons were invited over as well.  My house is tiny so we headed to the park and had a picnic in the park for the children.  I only made fairy bread…had to have a small touch of NZ at the party.  The rest of the stuff was all rubbish from the supermarket…lol.  Bad mother me I know.

We then had cake back at the house.

Then my AMAZING friend the high priestess did ALL my ironing for me!  I had to thank her by giving her a shoulder massage as well.  I hate ironing she likes it!  Would it be wrong to take my big bag of ironing down to see her?

She also spent time reading yesterday.  We spent time chatting, and laughing and crying etc.  I am glad that she also feels comfortable enough with me that she can just sit and read and blob as well.

Today they departed for the next leg of their holiday.  The house is quiet.  I am not used to more than one child…lol.

I do miss all my friends, including the ones in NZ.  I wish I could visit with more friends more often.  I wish I could spoil them, and be spoiled by them.  I wish i could show them where I live and go and things I do.  I wish I could go camping with them.  I wish…hell win some money and let me do all these things someone. 😉

Love you all my precious friends.  Thank you for being in my life, even if it is just through this box…tap tap.

Hugs to you all.
